Everglades City is a small, quaint, fishing village, located on the northwest boundary of Everglades National Park. Everglades National Park is the largest subtropical wilderness in the United States and is made up of over 1.5 million acres. It was established in 1947 and has been designated a Biosphere Reserve, a World Heritage Site, and a Wetland of International Importance.
