Florida and Me

It all began when my family moved to Clearwater, Florida from Worcester, Mass. I was 9 years old when we settled in a new golf course community. My house had its own pool something you didn't find often up North. How great is that!
On the week-ends it wasn't uncommon to see golf balls bounce down our street followed by a golfer saying, " Did you see my golf ball". We'd say no. This gave my friends & I a idea, Yes folks we went in the golfing business collecting lost golf balls and selling them back to golfers.
We went into high grass, deep rough and ponds looking for golf balls. Guess we were lucky we weren't eaten by alligators. Who knew, I was 9. Unfortunately for me the fun came to a abrupt halt when we returned home to Worcester four years later.
My mom told me many years later that she thought I hated Florida. She really had know idea what Florida meant to a young boy growing up in Neverland. I remember endless days of summers all year round and with sunny days everyday. How can that be? When it rained, it rained so hard we ran for our lives. You would be soaked in seconds it rained that hard, nothing like up North. You could buy real sugar cane by the foot for a nickle. Whoa was that sweet.... Kids now a days have a different reality. Behind my house was a creek where I remember one of our neighbors from time to time would walked in the creek with a shotgun looking for Water Moroccan's (never saw one). After the creek was orange groves as far as you can see. Kids were never hungry. When you were, you just pick a orange off the tree. We were living in a Tarzan movie and I was Johnny Weismiller yelling my jungle call. Then there was the Gulf of Mexico. Water sports and fishing became my passion. On my first charter with my dad and I caught my first Grouper. Wow! I loved it. What kid wouldn't.
So began my love affair with Florida.
Living in Worcester, I spent my summers at the family cottage in Buzzards Bay, Cape Cod, Mass. My routine was simple, I would get up have breakfast then do one or more of the following: (1) Swimming at the lake, (2) clam digging (Cohogs & Pis...er Clams, that’s what we called them cause they squirted you when you picked them up), (3) catching turtles, (4) fishing or (5) walking to the Buttermilk Bay Beach. Living in shorts and a t-shirt, summers set the pattern for my love of the outdoors and anything to do with the ocean.
After summers at the Cape came to a close, I joined the USAF, returning to get my first real job. I hired on with The Marriott Corp spending most of my career working in an around Boston at South Station and Quincy Market. Twelve years ago driving the coast road (Hickory Blvd.) to Fort Myers Beach crossing New Pass Bridge I saw an incredible sight. A Lagoon - part of “Lovers Key” Park whose waters were turquoise, pink and sky blue touching a pristine sugar sand beach. Why would anyone not want to live here it they could? 12 years ago I was presented an opportunity to fulfill my childhood dream of living in Florida. I accepted a position at Naples Community Hospital and I have been here ever since. Now in early retirement I discovered SBI - Web Site Building , thus began my 2nd career that I love.
The SBI! 2.0 Video Tour Lights...camera...action! Take the SBI! Video Tour and see the sheer power of Site Build It! When words aren't enough, let the Video do the talking.
I've began my own website with SBI this past June and published the site in July of this year. No monies yet. I'm at the beginning of Ad placement with Google Adsense, E-Book sales and now Affiliate sales. In my quest to establish inbound links with other SBI websites, I've been told, take your time and enjoy as well.As a retiree it would be nice to earn income of $1,000. - $2,000 per site per year. It appears to takes a year or so to arrive at those income levels. SBI is the only game in town. I know, I attended at least 3 seminaries with other companies that promised they could help people like me to build a good website. What I found was these companies are trying to hustle sales from people like me for $5,000.00 and more (you build the site). They start you out with a basic site for $30.00 (the Hook) which is basic with no chance for success. If you spend a additional $5,00.00 you chances improve..... most are scrams, SBI is not. SBI does have a learning curve depending on your passion or love of what you're doing, time invested in your site and your desire to succeed. It takes 6 months ( No HTML code / Site design knowledge is required) to 1 year learning as you go, building your passion and income producing site. Tell you the truth, I enjoy doing this so much that the monies will be nice but I love doing this. I enjoy each and everyday living here. You too can enjoy Naples through my web pages http:/www.naples-marco-island-florida.com/. Who knows, maybe you’ll take the plunge as I did or the next best thing and vacation here “A Tropical Paradise”.
The SBI! system provides all the tools and hands-on guidance needed to create and market a professional-looking, popular and profitable Web site, regardless of your Net experience. Its integrated technology is behind the scenes so you just use SBI! and succeed. After all, you don’t need to know the inner workings of a telephone in order to make a phone call! You simply focus on the proven SBI! process, step by step, to build income… 1) Identify a profitable niche that you know and love (SBI! Manager identifies profitable keywords at the click of a finger!). 2) Fill your site with high-value content that answers questions or providessolutions for your visitors. (Most surfers are searching the Net for informationnot necessarily for specific products or services.) 3) Use that content to attract your own niche-targeted traffic. (SBI! automaticallyworks with Search Engines so that your site is easy to find.) 4) Build a trusting and loyal following through e-zine. (Yes, you can easilypublish and manage an e-zine, HTML or text format, with Site Build It!). 5) Use your e-zine and site content to PREsell your targeted visitors. Andfinally... 6) Convert that PREsold, warm, willing-to-buy traffic into multiple streams of income (for example, selling auction items related to your theme, selling your own product/service off your site, representing another merchant’s products, lead-generation, etc.) Diversification increases your chances for a sale/commission and gives your online business stability.
The Only Book Of Its Kind Is Now FREE!

Top 1-3%Traffic Building Results 1,000 randomly selected Site Build It! ("SBI!") sites were recently studied. At the time, there were over 56 million sites on the Web (the total number of sites is now already over 100 million!). All statistics are according to Netcraft.com, a leading Net demographic firm, and according to Alexa.com, the leading traffic-measurement company. Netcraft tracks the Web hosting industry. Alexa is owned by Amazon.com. It measures traffic-popularity based on a sample of millions of users who are tracked as they surf. Summary of Results
* 35% of SBI! sites ranked in the top 1% of all sites (i.e., higher than 99% of all sites on the Web). * 53% were in the top 2% * 62% scored in the top 3%.
Each time this study is conducted, SBI! owners perform better and better. They rank higher against other sites despite the increased "competition" from far more Web sites. Today, the "Top 1%" requires a ranking of better than 1,000,000. A greater percentage than ever of SBI! sites make it into the Top 1%. As the years go by, as the Web becomes more and more competitive, as the number of sites grows (now over 100 million!), the natural and powerful process-and-tools of SBI! gets stronger.
