Smoke-freeall suite beachfront resort - 7 floors, 124 suites Excellent all around - perfect location on beach - goodservice Lovely hotel with a well-kept beach front - our room had aparking lot view, and was sometimes noisy; the in-room kitchenwas handy - pool was nice - hotel was well-staffed - Jan 2005
Beachfront resort - 9 floors, 318 rooms - AAA 3 Diamonds Onthe beach - service was a bit slow - I was satisfied Located on the beach - not a good value - room was small and didn't face the ocean - check-in time of 4 PM was toolate Worst accommodations for the price - room was located in oldest building with a view of the smelly garbage dumpster - we paid more toupgrade Good location and beach - had to change rooms at 1 AM due to noise - poor service in dining room, didn't get requested outside table- food quality didn't merit high prices Vanderbilt Beach Hotels and ResortsThese hotels are about 3 to 5 miles north of downtown

Beautiful resort with breathtaking views of the gulf coast -large, view room had a canopy bed, and a relaxing balcony with comfortable,wooden furniture - staff was exceptional in attending to our needs -beach was extremely well maintained - false fire alarm at 2 AM was only problem;we had to vacate our room for 30 minutes - we'll definitelyreturn
