It's another beach day so we're off to Vanderbilt Beach.. Go early to get a good parking space close to the beach although there is parking garage. $8.00 for visitor. Free parking for residents.map
With flip-flops and sunscreen on , we’re off to pure white sugar-sand in minutes. A seabreeze blows over you. Another day in Paridise.
With your gear in tow you spy a great spot over by the "Ritz" . Hey they even have horseshoe pits here. Can't wait to jump into the Gulf but firsts things first, setting up chairs, blanket and etc.
You begin to feel the restorative powers of Naples. You're waited long enough. Now run for the water and brace yourself. Your Naples vacation has begun.
White sand beaches, sunny days, warm Caribbean breezes, world class restaurants and entertainment just footsteps away, No need to drive anywhere, everything you need is within walking distance.
Vanderbilt Beach screams
"Beach Community with a Twist!"
A untypical beach community similar to Sanibel-Captiva or Cape Cod but with 3 major four star beach properties, The Laplaya, The Ritz and Vanderbilt Beach Resorts (Turtle Club).
Hungry for pizza on the beach, you can. You’ll also find sandwich, burgers, ice cream.
The Beach Store (formerly Circle K) is opposite the main public access point to the beach. You could pretty much find anything you may need at the beach including beach chairs, umbrellas, assorted beach toys and of course ice for the coolers.

Enjoy on the Beach Baleen Fine Dining Restaurant at the Laplaya Beach & Golf Resort...
An acclaimed restaurant with stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico. This is the only fine dining restaurant in Naples where you can dine on the sand.
As the sun sets on another day in paradise we invite you to join us for a romantic dinner. Take the hand of your loved one, whisper that words that often go unsaid and reconnect together!
Enjoy a fine glass of wine as you toast the Sunset under Torch light on Vanderbilt Beach at "The Ritz". Not a bad vacation? What do you think?

Also across the street is Buzz's Lighthouse Restaurant.
You gotta try Buzz’s located also on the inter-coastal. Buzz’s can be reached by boat.
Fresh seafood fare, large sandwiches and handmade burgers at more than reasonable prices. Maine Lobster (not large) but at $14.95 who's complaining. The view is nautical and atmosphere relaxed and tropical.

| Watch out in May to October if you like to walk the beach in the swallows. If you do you must learn the "The Shuffle". |
